Large Rat Spotted in NYC...
...which, normally, is not such a big deal. Except that this one was about 50 feet tall and inflatable.
Ironically, I've seen this thing before in the city. Maybe it was made specifically for protests, because that's what it was being used for here. The rat is positioned in front of The Time Hotel, and kept company by an impressive total of two protestors.

There are actually several rats - they are used by the AFL-CIO to mark "rats" companies that have violated collective bargaining agreements or who have in some way pissed off organized labor. I want a whole website devoted to following the rat around NYC, it is my favorite Strike tactic because it is so noticeable to the public.
