Last week, someone was kind enough to hit my bike while it was locked to a pole, bending the rear wheel and knocking it out of the dropouts. It was really windy that day, so I'm sure that explains what happened to the note they posted on my bike -- the note that says how sorry they were and that they would replace the wheel for me. It had to be the wind.
The new rim is a Black Velocity Deep V. Also, notice the black spokes. Appearantly, Velocity has new rim "colors" that include mostly really cheesy patterns. I hear the patterns are printed to a film that is heat shrunk on the rim which is why you can only get the non-machined variety. Gay.
